SEEDED MINEFIELD
We have seeded a comprehensive minefield consisting of 150 diverse explosive remnants of war buried at systematic varying depths located at the OSU Center for Fire and Explosives, Forensic Investigation, Training and Research range in Pawnee, Oklahoma. The purpose of this field is to serve as a resource and benchmark to the humanitarian mine community, allowing researchers to thoroughly test methods and instruments for landmine and UXO detection.

Permanent seeded field map displayed as an orthomosaic on a satellite map. The blue square shows the location of the IVS relative to the field. There is a pavilion for field operation logistics and gravel road access to the site.

Condensed grid for visualization of placement of each item, produced from structure-from-motion photogrammetry. Columns A–E are accurate in terms of placement and order in the buried grid, and F is accurate in order of items, but there is offset of item placement.

Day of burial, pavilion and road access available to site.
